Lancia Montecarlo FAQ
I hope to be sorting out all the regular questions I am asked, and place
the answers here. Currently there is no particular ordering to these questions.

Are dual headlights normal? |

No they are something people have added
to their car to make it look more modern. Kits to do this used to
be available from Scorpion Reproductions. |

Can new engine mounts be purchased? |
| A |
Yes. Chad at the Monte Hospital is now
making them. There should be versions, one for normal road use and
a stronger version for competition. |

Why do some Montecarlos have solid rear
buttresses? |
| A |
The very early Montecarlos were made with
a solid rear buttress. The car reviewers did not like this, and the
magazines wrote of poor rear visibility. Lancia quickly modified the
design to include a glass panel instead. The only cars without glass
are probably the very earliest cars produced as demonstrators. |
